Hello
Kimberly Koch
Attendance & Family Communications Coordinator
About Me

Kimberly comes to Oregon from California where she taught Language Arts at an alternative high school in the Bay Area. She has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in various settings.

She has worked as a tutor/mentor, a co-director of an afterschool program, a middle and high school teacher, a volunteer for First Five California, a coach, and taught literacy and art classes with Portland Public Schools' Schools Uniting Neighborhoods (SUN) program. She believes in the potential in every student and in working with families to help all students achieve that potential.

In her free time, Kimberly enjoys making art, gardening, and discussing books, playing, watching and coaching sports, and spending time outdoors with her husband, children, and dog.

Kimberly obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). She also obtained her Master's in Education degree and single subject teaching credential from UCSD.
